Two brothers,Ayodeji and Saheed Obadimeji have been apprehended by Police on Tuesday with the head of their neighbor’s son they killed on the request of a man who contracted them for same.<\/p>\n

The team of Anti-kidnapping personnel of the Lagos State Police Command nabbed the suspects with the freshly severed head while on a routine patrol along the Lekki-Epe expressway. <\/p>\n

The siblings, Ayodeji and Saheed are aged 18 and 19 years respectively and are residents of Tunde Balogun Street, Shapati in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos.<\/p>\n

On interrogation, they confessed that one Sodiq Abefe contracted them to provide him with a human head at the cost of N200, 000.<\/p>\n

According to them, the amount of money involved prompted them to lure their victim,a 10-year-old boy, by sending him to buy soft drinks for them and when he returned from the errand, they held him down and cut of his head with a knife. <\/p>

The victim was identified by his parents as Joseph Makinde.
\nFollowing the confessions by the suspects, the victim’s torso was recovered from an uncompleted building in the same neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Efforts are being made to arrest the said Abefe who allegedly contracted the Obadimejis to commit the heinous crime, according to the Police.<\/p>\n

The Commissioner of Police,Edgal Imohimi, has directed that the case be handed over to the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation And Intelligence Department (SCIID) Panti Yaba for further investigation. <\/p>\n

Imohimi reiterated his earlier warnings to criminals to repent, relocate from the state or regret the consequences of their actions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
