Union Bank has received the \u2018Marketing Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Innovative Financial Brand of the Year\u2019 awards at the 2018 Marketing World awards.<\/p>\n

The awards were officially presented at a ceremony that held recently at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, Ghana and brought together top practitioners and stakeholders from the African integrated marketing communications industry.<\/p>\n

Now in its 8th year, the annual Marketing World awards were established to recognise and celebrate top individuals and organisations across Africa who have developed and implemented exceptional integrated marketing campaigns during the year in view.<\/p>\n

Union Bank received the \u2018Marketing Campaign of the Year\u2019 award for its \u2018Clear Your Doubt\u2019 campaign known by its popular tagline- \u2018Don\u2019t be an Uncle Thomas\u2019, while the \u2018Innovative Financial Brand of the Year\u2019 award was given in recognition of the institution\u2019s inventive approach to delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
\nThanking the award organisers, Union Bank\u2019s Head of Corporate Communication and Marketing, Ogochukwu Ekezie-Ekaidem also said;\u00a0 “We are pleased that our current campaign continues to resonate deeply with audiences across Nigeria and beyond.
