The police have rescued a 15-year-old girl abducted by kidnappers in Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

The security operatives also arrested some armed robbers it described as deadly as well as kidnappers responsible for the recent killings of four IRT personnel.<\/p>\n

The robbers have been involved in several armed robberies, kidnappings and cattle rustling among other criminalities along the Maidaro\/Birnin Gwari and Zaria\/Giwa axis of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

The police also recovered one AK47 rifle and two locally made guns.<\/p>\n

Following a manhunt of the remaining killers of four IRT personnel on 11th August, and the recent abduction of the 15years old Hadiza Mohammed in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on 25th August, the criminals were apprehended.<\/p>\n

Operatives of the IGP-IRT in an unrelenting effort led to the arrest of four members of the kidnapping syndicate terrorising Maidaro\/Birnin Gwari and Zaria\/Giwa axis of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

The criminals were also responsible for the recent ambush and killing of four IRT personnel. <\/p>

Suspects arrested include: Ayuba Dabo, Samaila Chiroma, Isah Bello Bahago, Haruna Jibrin after serious gun battle. <\/p>\n

All suspects confessed to the recent kidnapping of the 15 year old girl and several armed robberies, kidnappings and cattle rustling in Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

One of the arrested leaders of the group, Buhari General and one Alhaji Mamuda who also participated in the ambush and killing of the IRT personnel in Kaduna were in possession of weapons. <\/p>\n

The suspects, however, made further confessions which helped the IRT operatives to rescue the 15 year old. <\/p>\n

Serious efforts to recover more operational weapons and arrest their fleeing gang members responsible for the killing of our men is in progress.<\/p>\n

The police has promised it will not relent on its operations to rid Kaduna State in particular and Nigeria in general of criminal elements disturbing the peace of the nation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
