President and Chief Executive Officer of Tropical Arctic Logistics (TAL), Emperor Chris Baywood Ibe has said that the company is a game changer in the aviation industry in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The President of the indigenous airline operating in Nigeria, made the call in Lagos during an interactive session with the press where the company unveiled its newly acquired AW139 helicopter in to its existing fleet.<\/p>\n

Baywood Ibe also advocated that the Federal Government should ensure and enforce initiatives to support indigenous investors for sustainable business growth which would ultimately impact positively on job creation and other socio-economic benefits.<\/p>\n

Addressing the press, Emperor Baywood Ibe took a permission to make an advocacy. \u201cPermit me to use this medium to advocate that pursuant to the Nigerian Content policy, that such as TAL for sustainable business growth which ultimately impacts positively on job creation and other socio-economic benefits. This will prevent the untimely extinction of indigenous establishments,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The company, established in 2013 to provide professional solutions with emphasis on safety and efficiency was happy to launch its newly acquired six fleet of AW139 helicopter, S92 and a Challenger fixed wing business Executive Jet.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur helicopter company offers\u00a0business-beneficial services to the\u00a0Oil and Gas industry,\u00a0Executive Spot Charter, Banking Industry,\u00a0Medical Emergency Evacuation (MEDVAC) and allied Services as well as Executive\u00a0private\u00a0Aircraft Charter,\u201d Ibe emphasised.<\/p>\n

Telling the audience more about the company, he said, \u201cTAL was founded in accordance with the Nigerian Content Monitoring Development Board (NCMDB) policy to develop local capacity. Indeed, apart from the technical support from our off-shore partners, Rose Aviation, based in the Republic of Ireland, TAL is a company by Nigerians and for Nigerians with international best practices.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chairman of the company and former Minister of State for Petroleum, Mr. Henry Odein Ajumogobia (SAN), said it is a new day for Nigerian aviation industry.<\/p>\n

Adeniji, an Aircraft Engineer with a wide and diversified background in Electronics, various airframe engines including Helicopters also identified Nigeria\u2019s number one problem as maintenance. \u201cThe aircraft you see out there were flown down from Europe by two Nigerians.
