Abuja and Lagos.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">These capacity building initiatives across the three states took place in the last four months and served as the third, fourth\u00a0and fifth editions of the Second season of the bank\u2019s Womenpreneur Business Workshop training.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Speaking on the initiative, the Group Head, Product Sales of Access Bank Plc, Ope Wemi-Jones said, was quoted in a statement from the bank as saying: \u201cSince 2006, the bank has maintained its commitment to drive women\u2019s economic empowerment in the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cThe Womenpreneur Business workshop is intended to educate and enlighten Nigerian women on the fundamentals in business which will eventually help them attain their full potential.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Womenpreneur Business workshop, a flagship training of the \u2018W\u2019 Academy under its Access Bank\u2019s \u2018W\u2019 initiative was designed to\u00a0address the lack of access to entrepreneurial skills, finance, networking, and management skills; which are the key barriers to women\u2019s economic inclusion.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><div data-ad-id=\"32665\" style=\"text-align:center; margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px;float:none;\" class=\"afw afw_ad_image afw_ad afwadid-32665  \">\r\n                                                            <div owners to the nation\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">economic reality as well as help them simplify processes and hone the requisite skills needed to grow their businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">So far, over 2,300 business women in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Abuja, Kaduna &amp; Enugu have benefitted immensely from the workshop with testimonials around increasing their business network, improving their business model and are thriving through the economic constraints with ease.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">This first of its kind workshop is highly discounted and targeted at small and medium scaled women entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Wemi-Jones disclosed that plans have been concluded to hold
