Unknown gunmen at the weekend\u00a0 attacked Al-Amin filling station in Pandogari town in Rafi local government of Niger state, \u00a0abducted the station manager, identified as\u00a0 Malam Muazzam \u00a0and three others, National Wire gathered on Tuesday.<\/p>

\nThe\u00a0 unidentified gunmen who attacked the station on motorcycles between 8:30 to 9pm that fateful\u00a0 Saturday night also killed three persons in their wake, \u00a0residents disclosed.<\/div>\n
\nAmong those killed, \u00a0according to Suleiman Muhammad, \u00a0a resident, was one Abubakar whose wedding is said to be two weeks away.<\/div>\n
\nOur reporter further gathered\u00a0 that one of the kidnapped persons was set free when \u00a0the motorcycle carrying\u00a0 him and one of the abductors developed a mechanical problem\u00a0 midway into the journey to their criminal hide out\u00a0 around Alawa forest in Shiroro local government area of the state .<\/div>\n
\nMalam Suleiman who spoke to National Wire on telephone said the gunmen arrived the target filling station,\u00a0 shooting sporadically into the air and had held sway for more than 30 minutes, \u00a0adding that a detachment of\u00a0 the police and military personnel\u00a0 attached to the area only got to the scene after the hoodlums\u00a0 had left.<\/div>\n
\nHe said the abductors have made contact with community leaders and were said to have\u00a0 demanded\u00a0 for N3 million naira each as ransom\u00a0 before the two remaing victims would be set free from.the abductors captivity.<\/div>\n
\nHe said the latest incident was coming barely a week after three persons were abducted on their way from Alawa \u00a0market recently .<\/div>\n
\nHe said the abductors demanded for N5 million but later accepted N700, 0000 and released the victims.<\/div>\n
\nWhen contacted the State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer,(PPRO)\u00a0 ASP Peter Sunday confirmed that\u00a0 incident, adding that the fleeing.gunmen were shooting their guns sporadically, while\u00a0 out of the three people said to have been\u00a0 hit by bullets, \u00a0one of them died, \u00a0while the remaining two were.fatally injured and were still. on admission in\u00a0an undisclosed\u00a0 hospital.<\/div>\n
