The Niger State Police Command, \u00a0has announced the rescue \u00a0of the kidnapped Divisional \u00a0Police Officer (DPO) \u00a0in munya Local Government area of the state on Thursday evening.<\/p>

\nIn a statement by\u00a0 the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer ( PPRO) \u00a0SP Abigail Unaeze, the kidnapped Divisional Police\u00a0 Officer (DPO) and five others, have been rescued in the\u00a0 New Kabula forest within the locality of the Munya Local Government of the state \u00a0by the Police Rescue Operation Team.<\/div>\n
\nWhile appealing to the general public on the need to assist \u00a0the security agencies with useful information , SP Abigail pointed out that the \u00a0Command \u00a0has already put in place sensitive security measures that will deal decisively with any form of security\u00a0 threats as well as\u00a0 identifying hide – outs of criminal elements across the state.<\/div>\n
\nThe rescued Police officer SP Amos Aliu was kidnapped last Sunday \u00a0along with Five other \u00a0Police personnel in Munya Local Government Area \u00a0while on operational duty.<\/div>\n
