Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Bishop Hassan Kukah has refuted a rumour credited to him which is making the rounds.<\/p>\n

The cleric in a simple letter told the public that he was not involved with the rumour ascribed to his name.<\/p>\n

“There is a spurious and untitled piece credited to me about Biafra which is enjoying wide circulation on the social media. I have nothing to do with it,” the Bishop said in a letter.<\/p>\n

Before the disclaimer, some unscrupulous persons have gone to town with information later found to be false by the letter transmitted by the Bishop.<\/p>

The Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah<\/b> was born on August 31, 1952 in Anchuna, Ikulu Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n
