{"id":17254,"date":"2017-09-15T01:41:46","date_gmt":"2017-09-15T00:41:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/?p=17254"},"modified":"2017-09-15T11:36:37","modified_gmt":"2017-09-15T10:36:37","slug":"six-arrested-killing-guilder-ultimate-search-winnerhector-jobarteh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/sub\/six-arrested-killing-guilder-ultimate-search-winnerhector-jobarteh\/","title":{"rendered":"Six arrested for killing Guilder Ultimate Search winner, Hector Jobarteh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"m_413941604162796710yMail_cursorElementTracker_1505419112666\" dir=\"ltr\">The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of six men in connection with the killing of Hector \u00a0Jobarteh, the winner, Gulder Ultimate Search Search 3.<\/p>\n<p id=\"m_413941604162796710yMail_cursorElementTracker_1505419210712\" dir=\"ltr\">Jobarteh was shot dead at his Oko-Oba residence on September 4, 2017,shortly after returning from the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, where he went to pick up a sibling.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, one of the suspects arrested is a Uber driver who conveyed the killers while the others were found with the victim&#8217;s mobile phone.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The CP said that one of the suspects is still at large and efforts is ongoing to get him arrested and prosecuted.<\/p>\n<p id=\"m_413941604162796710yMail_cursorElementTracker_1505419294998\" dir=\"ltr\">One of the suspects, Williams Igana, the Uber driver, however, said that he had driven some men who threatened him with gun to Abeokuta but had no knowledge that they were killers.<\/p>\n<p id=\"m_413941604162796710yMail_cursorElementTracker_1505419318597\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;I was looking for an Android phone when my brother, Valentine, linked me with one JK. It was JK that called me to drive them to Yaba from Cement and I was paid N8,000 after I charged them N10,000.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;The next day, JK called me again to take them to Abeokuta and I charged them N20,000.
