A frightening statistics from Nigerian Bureau of Statistics in June 2017 revealed that unemployment rate in Nigeria rose from 13.9% in the 3rd quarter to 14.2% in the quarter of 2016. The report further revealed that population of unemployed galloped from 27.12 million in the 3rd to 28.58 million in the 4th quarter of 2016. In August 2017, the statistics would have been further worsening.<\/p>\n

In an economically and structurally deficient country like Nigeria, the position would continue to worsen on yearly basis with geometric increased in the rate of population, coupled with lack of foresight and creativity on the part of leadership which has perpetually confined the economy into mono-cultural economy over the last five (5) decades.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s therefore germane for the nation youth population especially, the young university graduates to start imprinting it in their psyche the need to embrace entrepreneurial initiatives rather than criss crossing the nation for employment opportunities that do not exist.<\/p>\n
