For some days, arrested billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, has been out of the news.<\/p>\n

The billionaire criminal has revealed why he did not operate in Yoruba land other than Lagos while his reign of terror lasted.<\/p>\n

On June 26, he said he liked operating in states like Enugu, Abia, Lagos and Edo States because he is from Anambra State.<\/p>\n

He told newsmen there is no justifiable reason for him to operate in his state of origin.<\/p>\n

He revealed why he didn\u2019t operate in Yoruba land apart from Lagos.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice tracking located me in Anambra State, but it was not because I committed robbery or even kidnapped anyone there.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019If I kidnapped someone in Lagos, I sometimes go to Anambra State to collect the ransom, just to avoid detention.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019No! I have never operated in any Yoruba state, let alone Oyo State. I have never operated there; Lagos is my state. I mostly operated from Lagos.<\/p>

\u2018\u2019Moreover, I also didn\u2019t like operating in Yoruba states because I don\u2019t know my way around there. I don\u2019t know the terrains.<\/p>\n

\u201dIt is not right to go where you don\u2019t know, except you have someone that can lead you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recently, head of the police unit that got him arrested, Abba Kyari told the public via his Facebook page that most information being circulated about the most wanted kidnapper were false, urging the public to only rely on authentic sources for their information.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Evans has however corroborated Kyari\u2019s claims telling the public to discard a lot of \u2018lies\u2019 flying on the social media.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThere was never a time I said I got victims from Facebook or that my wife used to collect ransom on my behalf. I did not also say there are important personalities working with me in the East.\u201d<\/p>\n
