{"id":13947,"date":"2017-06-05T12:28:02","date_gmt":"2017-06-05T11:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/?p=13947"},"modified":"2017-06-05T12:28:02","modified_gmt":"2017-06-05T11:28:02","slug":"privatised-enterprisesll-be-listed-on-stock-exchange-bpe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/sub\/privatised-enterprisesll-be-listed-on-stock-exchange-bpe\/","title":{"rendered":"Privatised enterprises\u2019ll be listed on stock Exchange \u2013BPE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Privatised public enterprises are to be listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the Director-General, Bureau of Public Enterprises, Mr. Alex Okoh, has said.<\/p>\n<p>He said this in Abuja on Friday when he received members of a technical committee on attracting new listings, according to a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by the Head of Public Communications at the agency, Mr. Chukwuma Nwokoh.<\/p>\n<p>The BPE boss said the structure of the reform and privatisation process by the BPE envisaged listing of privatised enterprises as the final outcome.<\/p>\n<p>Okoh, however, raised concerns about the stability of the market and prospects of getting good value should the privatised entities be listed.<\/p>\n<p>He pledged strong collaboration with the capital market, which would help to deepen the market.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cWe will collaborate in reviewing what the conditions are and try to make it right for the listings.
