The Bible Society of Nigeria has donated Bibles worth N17,178, 505 to Nigerians as part of its effort to enhance the spiritual development of the people.<\/p>\n

This was contained in a statement signed by the BSN\u2019s Deputy Manager, Media and Programmes, Mr. Benjamin Mordi, on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Mordi stated that the gesture was in line with its mission to help the people to interact with the word of God.<\/p>\n

The beneficiaries of the gesture, he stated, included prisoners, Christian fellowship groups and organisations, schools for the blind and individual members of the public.<\/p>

According to Mordi, the BSN has completed the distribution of Braille Bible to schools of people with disability.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, a complete set of Braille bibles which comes in 37 volumes cost N44,000 and the organisation has been able to achieve this with funds donated by members of Bible-A-Month Club, special members, corporate organisations, churches and individual donors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
