\nThe case of a 12-year-old Nigerian boy, Praise Sunday, who had a close shave with death when his family was brutally attacked in Agbor, Delta State, has once again underscored how love is truly in action in the activities of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).<\/p>\n

The young Sunday became one of several individuals in need, within and outside the country, who have benefitted from the benevolent act of the Church, following the brutal killings of his mother and younger sister. Not only did the gruesome act take place before the poor boy\u2019s very eyes, he was also apparently left for dead by the assailants.<\/p>\n

Though he survived the attack which occurred on May 8, 2016 by a sheer dint of \u2018Divine intervention,\u2019 an emergency surgery that followed and the use of “T.B. Joshua\u2019s Morning Water,” Sunday had his vocal chords severely damaged and a pipe inserted into his throat. These kept him in a sort of limbo for some nine months as he could not utter a single word.<\/p>\n

But after seven operations carried out on him at medical institutions across the country yielded no result and several pleas for financial aid to the government agencies within Delta State were not met with any favourable response, the family decided to pay a visit to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos.<\/p>\n

Hearing of his heartbreaking ordeal, a report said Prophet T.B. Joshua instantly sprang into action. Praise Sunday and his Aunt were consequently flown to South Africa where he underwent four major operations at the Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Cape Town. The operations were overseen by specialists, Dr. Martin Vanlierde and Professor Mark De Groot.<\/p>\n

A total of $50,000 (N25m) was spent by the Prophet on Praise\u2019s trip, covering his welfare, travelling expenses and medical bills.<\/p>

Praise is back in Nigeria, now with a new lease of life, largely because of the human kindness of Prophet T.B Joshua who took up the challenge when others declined to help.<\/p>\n

Love is the major tenet of Christianity as stipulated in the Bible and SCOAN has also made it the main thrust of its teachings. To this end, Prophet T.B. Joshua has dedicated his energy and wealth to showing love so as to have positive impacts on those who cross his path.
\nAccording to him, \u201ctrue love always searches for whom to help whenever and wherever it is in a position to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thus, rather than spend money sponsoring citizens to go on pilgrimages in Mecca and Jerusalem, Prophet T.B Joshua says putting smiles on the faces of the downtrodden wherever they may be from is far more important.<\/p>\n

However, despite the instances of act of kindness extended to those seeking help, the critics of the church many a time pick holes in its activities.<\/p>\n

In the face of such criticism and condemnations though, Prophet T.B.
