Street music king and arguably Nigeria\u2019s most sought-after musician at the moment, Olamide Adedeji a.k.a. Olamide Badoo, has been signed on by Globacom as a brand ambassador.<\/p>\n

Olamide joins another high flying musician Inetimi Alfred Odon, popularly known as Timaya who was accepted into the exclusive club of Glo brand ambassadors a couple of months ago.<\/p>\n

From Ghana, two new ambassadors have also been appointed, namely, Juliet Ibrahim and Joselyn Dumas, both highly regarded actresses currently making waves in the Ghanaian and Nigerian movie industries.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from Globacom\u2019s head office in Lagos, \u00a0Olamide was signed on as an ambassador because of his creativity and diligence, which have earned him an enviable status in the music industry. The company said both Olamide and Timaya have become sources of inspiration to millions of Nigerian youths.<\/p>\n

The statement said Olamide, Timaya, Ibrahim and Dumas will be in good company with other high flying mega stars who are already ambassadors to Globacom. These include ace actress, Patience Ozokwor popularly called Mama G; music divas, Omawumi and Ego, delectable Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, stand-up comedians Basketmouth and Bovi Ugboma; fast rising musicians Reekado Banks, Korede Bello and Hadizah Blell (Di’ja), Africa Rapper Number One, MI.; and a host of other mega stars.<\/p>\n

Olamide is a 27 year-old graduate of the Tai Solarin University, Ijebu Ode. He sings and raps mostly in his indigenous Yoruba language with a superb blend of street patois. He has several musical hits in his kitty.<\/p>\n

In 2011, Olamide released his debut studio album\u00a0Rapsodi. \u00a0YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint\u00a0YBNL Nation\u00a0and \u00a0was supported by the singles “First of All”, “Voice of the Street”, “Stupid Love”, and “Ilefo Illuminati”. He released his third studio album\u00a0Baddest Guy Ever Liveth\u00a0in 2013\u00a0with singles\u00a0like\u00a0\u201cDurosoke” and “Yemi My Lover”.<\/p>\n

Other hits from his stable include\u00a0PepeSneh, Sakitibobo, Konkobility, Who you epp\u00a0and\u00a0Eeyan Mayweather.\u00a0 Olamide has been nominated and won several music awards, including multiple\u00a0Nigeria Entertainment Awards\u00a0and The Headies.<\/p>\n

Timaya is a highly successful artiste, with bias for raga, hip-hop, dancehall and afro beat. Some of his albums include,\u00a0True\u00a0Story,\u00a0Gift\u00a0and\u00a0Grace,\u00a0De Rebirth,\u00a0LLNP\u00a0and\u00a0Upgrade.\u00a0He is the founder of South-South hip hop group,\u00a0Dem Mama Soldiers.<\/p>

He started his solo career in 2005 with the release of\u00a0Dem Mama, which was widely accepted across Nigeria, especially among the youths.<\/p>\n

He is a multiple award winner and has to his credit four\u00a0Headies Awards\u00a0and one Nigerian\u00a0Music Award.\u00a0 In 2011, Timaya was appointed a Peace Ambassador by the Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP).<\/p>\n

Joselyn Dumas, a Ghanaian television host and actress is currently the host for a new TV talk show\u00a0@ Home with Joselyn Dumas, aired across Africa and parts of Europe.<\/p>\n

Dumas was a practicing\u00a0para-legal\u00a0until 2014 when she starred in\u00a0A\u00a0Northern Affair, a role that earned her a Ghana Movie Award and an Africa Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.<\/p>\n

She made her debut on Television as the host of Charter House’s\u00a0Rhythmz, an entertainment show, which saw her interviewing many celebrities.
