Africa’s richest man and Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote, has announced that he would invest N2 billion\u00a0to create jobs and end hunger for Borno\u00a0State residents living in IDP camps.<\/p>\n

Dangote, the president of Dangote Group announced in company his daughter, while visiting the Dalori and\u00a0Bakassi IDP camps in Borno State.<\/p>\n

According to the billionaire, the N2 billion would be spent on the IDPs for the State government to provide social\u00a0amenities to all state residents.<\/p>\n

“I am here to see the IDPs by\u00a0myself. This is my first time to visit IDPs in\u00a0Borno but I want to assure you that it will not\u00a0be the last. We shall continue to work with the\u00a0State government to make sure the IDP camps\u00a0are hunger free,” Dangote said, adding that, his foundation\u00a0would shoulder the costs of food for the IDPs\u00a0during the Holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>

“Like I said earlier when I visited the IDP camps,\u00a0our partnership with Borno State aims to create\u00a0jobs for our people. Also I assure you that the\u00a0entire food for IDPs during Ramadan will be\u00a0given by the Dangote Foundation to assist the\u00a0State government,” Dangote promised.<\/p>\n
