The Vice President elect, His Excelency Senator Kashim Shettima has paid a familiarization visit to the former Military president,General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Alhaji Abubakar.
Shettima who was in Minna Niger State Capital on Thursday to pay homage and to check on the two former Nigerian leaders to mark Ramadan fasting period according to some sources.
Sources closed to the duo at their Uphill country home in Minna hinted that the visit may have been unconnected with the incoming All Progressives Congress (APC) Government to be led by the President elect, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu seeking the supports of the two Elder Statesmen.
National Wires further learnt that the Vice President Elect’s visit was also to Consult and find a way out, over the recent Department of State Services (DSS) alleged plans by some perceived disgruntled Political actors in the country ‘s decisions to moot the idea of the formation of interim National Government in the country .
