Polaris Bank shone brightest over the weekend as its bespoke home-grown digital bank, VULTe won for the third time, Nigeria's 'Best Digital Bank of the Year' prize at the prestigious BusinessDAY’s Banks And Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.

Three companies, out of 81 companies that contested at the Nigerian Communication Commission’s inspired technology innovation talent hunt competition, shared the N30 million prize money equally. 

Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Simbi Wabote, has said that the two refineries in Edo State, the Edo Refinery and Deport Midstream Refinery, which are currently refining petrochemical products, are well positioned to contribute to Nigeria’s 1.5 million barrels per day refining capacity by 2025.
