A Nigerian business man, Ngene Chinecherem Oscar based in Oman Quatar, has been sentenced to two years imprisonment or  a fine of N1.5 million for the offence of exportation of11.5 kilograms of Canabis Sativa  and 600 grammes of Tramadol 225 mg.

According to the FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited, secondary market turnover on FMDQ Exchange in October 2023 was ₦21.70trn, representing a month-on-month (MoM) decrease  of 6.75% (₦1.57trn) and year-on-year (YoY) increase of 60.27% (₦8.16trn) from the turnover recorded in September  2023 and October 2022, respectively.

Security agencies have dispersed supporters of the SDP in Kogi State, who stormed the State Secretariat of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in Lokoja, to protest against what they termed "INEC's dubious tampering with election materials".
