The police revealed that “This evening, RRS officer while on patrol along Lagos State University – Iba Road, recovered a purse which fell from the bag of a motor bike passenger.

Having picked the purse, the officer gradually followed the okada with a view to handing the lost item on to the owner. Unfortunately, the okada rider misconstrue the intention, thinking the trail was an attempt to arrest him.

Therefore, he accelerated and sped off.
