Ekiti state PDP woman leader Mrs Yemisi Afolabi has congratulated Senator Biodun Olujimi representing Ekiti south senatorial district at the senate on her elevation to the post of the Minority Leader.
Mrs Afolabi described Senator Olujinmi’s elevation as a welcome development which is a result of her hardwork, effective participation and pragmatic contribution to issues on the floor of the house in the interest of the country’s development.
The state PDP woman leader described her as a shining amazon amongst her peers at the national assembly. She rejoiced with Senator Olujimi whom she referred to as a pride of Ekiti women and PDP in the state at large. Stressing that PDP has further proved to the people that they are gender sensitive,Mrs Afolabi said the Party does not discourage women from achieving their political goals.
Mrs Afolabi appealed to senator Olujimi to use her new position to canvass for the betterment of womanhood and national development. She prayed that God will grant Olujimi divine wisdom to excel in her new post while congratulating the PDP and Ekiti state at large for the new development.
