NSCDC Anambra Command Commences Three Months Training Of Recruited Personnel

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, on Monday commenced a three-month training of successful recruited and documented personnel of Anambra State indigences who participated in the year 2019 NSCDC recruitment exercise.

In a statement by the spokesperson of the command, DSC Okadigbo Edwin said that upon completion of the initial three months training, the trainees would be selected in batches for Basic Training Course at the designated NSCDC training colleges and Schools.

Addressing the newly recruited officers at the State Command Headquarters Awka, the Anambra State Commandant, Mr. Everestus C. Obiyo congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to be of good behaviour during the training.

According to him, “you are expected to display self discipline, and dedication during your period of training, obey all training rules and regulations, and develop your mental capacity for efficient response to security issues,” he said.

Earlier, the Head of Training Department, DCC Kizito K. Emaikwu admonished the trainees to be dedicated to succeed in their chosen career of service to the citizens by paying attention to details during the training period.

The training is expected to last for the next three months where trainees would receive instruction in numerous areas which included induction, etiquette, ethics, rudiments of drill, and Parade pathology among others.
