Niger Governor Elect Says He Is Ready To work With Opposition Party Members In The State To Fast-Track Development Of The State

The Governor-elect in Niger State, Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago has said that he is prepared  to work with those that had contested along with him and lost in order to fast track the development of the state.

He stated this in his acceptance speech after receiving the final results of election by the party’s Chief Agent Alhaji Mohammed Nma Kolo in Minna.

Hon. Umar Bago called on members of opposition parties in the state to eschew all forms of political differences and work as a team to take Niger state to greater heights.

The Governor-elect also commended the PDP Gubernortorial Candidate Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi in the just concluded Governorship and state Assembly elections in the state for conceeding defeat in the spirit of sportsmanship describing it as a welcomed development.

According to him, “The Niger state project is a project of the entire Nigerlites whose vision, mission and dream is to transform the state within the shortest possible time and that it requires collective efforts by all and sundry..

Hon. Umar Bago would also wants party supporters in Niger state to celebrate the victory with modesty to avoid any casualty during the celebration..

He however added that this is not the time for making statement but will talk after receiving his certificate of return in due course.
