Hoodlums Attack Amotekun-Police At Ona Ara Local Government, Oyo state

 

It was a tensed moments at Ona Ara as operatives of Amotekun and police officers were attacked by hoodlums at Ona Ara in Oyo state and severely wounded four of them.

The Coordinator of Amotekun operations at Ona Ara, Mr Gabriel Adelakun said the incident happened following a distress call by Odeyale Community Landlord Association to help in dislodging the activities of the hoodlums in their neighbourhood.

Adelekun further explained that on getting to the community, the hoodlums attacked them with machetes and axes, leading to the injuring of four of the operatives and are presently admitted in intensive care of the University College Hospital (UCH) for treatment.

It was learnt that investigation is still ongoing.
