FG Promises To Engage Youths In Meaningful Programmes

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr.  Sunday Dare has given an assurance  that President Muhammad Buhari would continue to engage youths across the country meaningfully with various empowerment programmes.
The Minister have the assurance  during an interctive session  with newsmen on Thursday  in Minna, saying that Mr. President, will continue to engage the youths meaningfully and negotiate with them for good governance towards  a better Nigeria . “
It was further  revealed that the Minister was in Minna, Niger state capital,  to meet with the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth leaders across the country to ensure unity and progress of the party.
The Minister however declared that it has the power to reposition the Super the Nigeria’s Football national team, the Super Eagles,  for  optimal performance.
He said, “as a Minister of Youth and Sports Development,  it is my responsibility to make sure that our sports sector is growing.”We expect good results from the Nigeria technical crew.
“Therefore we will review everything about the Super Eagles to enable the National  football team progress and give us good results,”.
Sunday Dare explained that the country was not happy with the goalless draw result of the recent return match of the Super Eagles played with the Leon Stars of Siera Leon in the ongoing qualifying series of the African Cup of Nations in Siera Leon.
It could be recalled that the Super Eagles topping the group “L” with eight points earlier played 4-4 draw with the Siera Leonians in Nigeria.
“We are not happy with what happened in Siera Leon recently, therefore we have to do something to make the Super Eagles give us good results.
