No fewer than  12 petitions have been filed at the National Assembly and Governorship Election petition tribunal in Minna, the Niger state capital.

Niger state government has assured the state civil servants of it's commitment towards the payment of monthly salaries and pensions despite short falls experienced from the statutory Federation Account.
