In a bid to fast track the adoption and utilise the gains of emerging technologies, the Federal Government of Nigeria has launched a National Policy on Blockchain Technology and inaugurated Implementation & Steering Committee to oversee its implementation.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA), Bayelsa State command has said no fewer than 158 persons suspected of peddling illicit hard drugs have been arrested in the state between August, 2022 to date.

No fewer than 37 undergraduate students of the Niger State's owned  Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University(IBBU) Lapai have bagged first class degree in various departments as the university  holds its 4th combined graduation on Saturday, 20th May 2023.
