The Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh, said policies of the current administration at the Agency are tailored to complement efforts of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) to grow the Nigerian economy through the Oil and Gas sector.

Barring any unforseen circumstances, Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, Executive Vice Chairman the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), has assured that the agency is working in line with the Nigeria National Broadband Plan (NNBP 2020 – 2025) to provide industry leadership and facilitate the achievement of 90 per cent Broadband penetration by year 2025.

Cybersecurity expert, Dr. David Isiavwe says despite the gains of the cashless policy in Nigeria, implementation is challenged due to inadequate critical infrastructure to support electronic payment systems, particularly in rural areas.
