The new Force Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali, has appreciated the Chadian Armed Forces for its support, and appealed for more cooperation that would aid in achieving the mandate of the MNJTF.

The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Ijaw National Affairs, elder Erasmus Patrick, has lauded the State Governor, Senator Douye Diri for his Pan-Ijaw leadership roles towards ensuring peaceful and credible polls in the just concluded elections for the leadership of the 9th national executive council members of the Ijaw Youths council(IYC).
