The Acting Comptroller General of Immigration, Caroline WuraOla Adepoju, has conducted an assessment visit to the Illela Border Control Post to ensure the effective implementation of the Federal Government's directive to temporarily close land borders with Niger Republic in light of their ongoing political instability.

Following the recent promotion of ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, the Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has reappointed him as the Force Public Relations Officer.
