Eid-el Kabir: Nigeria Govt Declares Monday, Tuesday As Public Holidays

The federal government of Nigeria has declared Monday July 11 and Tuesday July 12, 2022 as public holidays to mark this year’s Muslim festival – Eid-el Kabir.

Ministry of Interior announced it in a press statement via a Twitter handle, @MinOfInteriorNG on Thursday July 7, 2022.

Nigerians are expected to celebrate the festival lowkey as a result of high cost of living and insecurity.
