Dokpesi, Wife, Family Members Test Positive For Covid-19

The Founder of DAAR Communications Plc, Mr Aleogho Dokpesi has tested positive for coronavirus.

Also, his wife, Mrs Tosin Dokpesi, his three children and three relatives have also tested positive too.

They were tested after the son and Chairman of DAAR Communications, Mr Raymond Dokpesi Jnr tested positive of the virus last week.

In a statement released on Friday and signed by the management, DAAR Communications said, “Following the test that was carried out on our Chairman- Chief Raymond Dokpesi Jnr on Thursday April 23, 2020 by the NCDC which eventually proved positive and his subsequent admission into the isolation centre on Friday April 24, 2020; we wish to state that in conformity with the Federal Government protocol on the COVID 19 administration and management, his entire household and those that had contacts with him were subsequently subjected to the test and with so much emotional pains, we hereby announce that the under listed have equally been confirmed positive.

Those positive are High Chief Aleogho Dokpesi ( His Father/ Founder DAAR Communications PLC); Our chairman’s wife (Tosin ); his three Children and someDokpesi relatives.

It added that following the result, they are presently on their way to the Federal Government isolation centre at Gwagwalada in Abuja.

The Board and Management, therefore, called for prayers for the family to come out stronger from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nigeria at the moment has 1,932 cases with 58 deaths and about 319 patients discharged from Covid-19 from the various isolation centres across the country.
