As efforts are ongoing to vaccine Nigerians against Covid-19 pandemic, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, on Monday led other senior police officers and rank and file cadre of the command to take the jab Vaccination.
He was vaccinated at the Area F Area Command, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State.
The Commissioner of Police, after the Commands Management meeting and the press briefing on the achievements of the command, in his office, moved to the Vaccination centre about 2.30pm for the exercise.
By his action, he has ordered that every personnel of the Lagos State Police Command must be vaccinated as front line workers.
They are to be prevented from the pandemic and feel safe whenever they are on duty and, even while off duty.
Meanwhile, the police boss has scheduled the personnel on Area Command basis for the exercise for easy administration.
CP Hakeem Odumosu, however, urged the general public to avail themselves the opportunity of the Vaccination as the pandemic is real and must be tackled by all means.
