Buhari is alive-Presidential spokespersons

The Presidency Saturday night has debunked rumour making the rounds that President Muhammadu Buhari is experiencing an unstable health condition that could cause his death in London.

Reacting to the rumour, Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina via Twitter appreciated those wishing the President well. “Best wishes to all who wish PMB well. As for those who carry evil rumours, may they receive grace to repent.” He tweeted.

Another tweet debunking the evil rumour by a Presidential aide, Garba Shehu reads: “The President cannot be holidaying in the United Kingdom and be in Germany, dead or alive at the same time.”

President Buhari left Nigeria on Thursday when he proceeded on vacation, leaving his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to hold forth.

Now in acting capacity, Osinbajo is empowered by the 1999 constitution to run the affairs of the state till the President resumes in office in few days time.
