Residents of Thomas Salako street, Ogba, Lagos State may not know they are sitting on a keg of gun powder.

This is because an electronic pole in front of house number 11, is about to cave in.

Residents and owners of business concerns in the area Monday, told National Wire they perpetually live in fear because the pole may finally break when the place is busy with human and vehicular traffic.

Gbenga Tewogbola is a printer who operates in the area, according to him, “We have been complaining and it seems we are joking. I just pray they answer on time because it’s dangerous especially during rain. If you look at this pole, it is breaking from the base, it’s very dangerous.”

Residents are however calling on stake holders to take action that can prevent possible loss of lives and properties any moment from now.
