Maj Gen Olufemi Oluyede Takes Over As 6 Division GOC

 

Maj Gen Olufemi Oluyede, who was recently appointed as the new General Officer Commanding 6 Division NA and Land Component Commander Operation Delta Safe, has taking over the mantle of leadership of the Division.

During the Handing and Taking of command on Monday, 17 January 2022, from the outgone Maj Gen Sani Mohammed, the former GOC
applauded the commanders under him saying it was a pleasure working with them.

While urging the officers to work assiduously to support the GOC, admonished them to ensure that the vision of the Division is achieved.

In his remarks, the new GOC Maj Gen Olufemi Oluyede, thanked God for the privilege to lead 6 Division. He solicited for the commanders’ cooperation and commitment to enable him succeed in his assigned tasks.

Present at the event included the Brigade Commanders and Senior Officers of 6 Division affiliated formations and Units.

The GOC was later decorated the signing of the Handing and Taking over notes, with the Division’s insignia and accoutrements as well as hoisting of the flag.
