CP Nasiru Decries Frequent Attacks At Police Station …Visits Burnt Ihitte Uboma Police Station

It was a sad reality as the Imo state Commissioner of Police, CP Nasiru Mohammed on Wednesday visited Ihite Uboma Divisional Police Headqaurters for “on the spot assessment ” of what actually transpired.

He visited in company of other senior officers of the Command, decried the rate at which Police stations are being attacked at the slightest provocation.

He also used the opportunity to call on the Community leaders and other stakeholders to sensitize their youths in order to guide against such unfortunate incidents in future.

He further asked members of the public to remain calm as the command would do everything possible to ensure that justice is done in the matter.

The CP vowed to do everything possible to ensure that policing activities continues in the area, as the command will not leave any part of the state Command to hoodlums.

In his response, the head of the traditional rulers in theLocal government, His Royal Highness Eze Uwalaka, thanked the CP for the visit and promised to set mercenaries in place to ensure that such a thing never happen in the area.

In the CP’s entourage were the Deputy Commissioner of Police, (operations) DCP Illyasu Kwarbai Deputy Commissioner of Police (CID) DCP Musa Baba, Commander 18 PMF Squadron, ACP Ishyaku Usman among others
