UBA Board To Meet Over Unaudited 2020 Third Quarter Financial Account

The board of directors United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA), are set to meet on October 22, 2020, to consider among other matters, the group unaudited accounts and financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020.

In a statement which was made available to the investing public through the Nigerian Stock Exchange website, and signed by the group company secretary Bili Odum, is incompliance with the post listing requirements of the NSE, for quoted companies.

“United Bank for Africa Plc hereby declares the commencement of the closed period for trading in the Bank’s shares from Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in respect of the Group Unaudited Accounts and Financial Statements for the Third Quarter ended September 30, 2020”.

“Accordingly, no Director, person discharging managerial responsibility, employee with sensitive information, adviser, and consultant of the Bank and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the Securities (Shares and Bonds) of the Bank until 24 hours after the release of the Group Unaudited Accounts and Financial Statements for the Third Quarter ended September 30, 2020 to the Nigerian Stock Exchange”
