Pandemonium as gunmen beheads man in River State

Barely 48 to the Rivers re-run election, hoodlums have continued to unleash mayhem in the oil-rich state.

This morning, gunmen reportedly stormed Mgbuitanwo, in Emohua Clan, Emohua Local Government Area of the state, leaving blood and pandemonium in their trail.

Barely two weeks ago, an All Progressive Congress (APC), chieftain was killed along with his wife and son by yet to be identified assailants. Early this morning, home town of Chief Andrew Uchendu, APC Senatorial candidate in the March 19 rerun election in the state, was attacked.

The gunmen reportedly murdered 28-year-old Mr. Ukeoma and beheaded him. Another yet to be identified resident was also abducted during the operation, causing apprehension and pandemonium in the area.
