APC sweeps polls in Sokoto State

The All Progressive Party (APC), in Sokoto State, North West Nigeria has won all the seats in the Local Government elections conducted on Saturday.

The State Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Alhaji Usman Abubakar, stated while releasing the results yesterday that the APC won all the Local Government Chairmanship seats as well as the Councillorship seats throughout the state.

Meanwhile jubilation has continued across the state for a peaceful election and the return of APC statewide.
