The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Bayelsa State Barrister Amos Jothan says the state chapter of the party will win more state and national Assembly seats in the 2019 election.

According to Jothan while the state chapter of the APC has adopted direct primaries for choosing the party’s legislative election standard bearers in the state the APC, he said is the party to beat in the forthcoming election, stressing that Bayelsans are weary of bad governance.
While reiterating there continuous observance of the rule of law and order according to electoral guidelines, the party chairman emphasized that the peculiar riverine terrain of the state will not deter them from securing landslide electoral victory in 2019.
Speaking on his assessment of the PDP administration in the state, Jothan said Governor Dickson has performed below standards and expectations of Bayelsans, urging the state electorates to vote out all PDP candidates in 2019.
Meanwhile against the insinuations that the Bayelsa APC may be headed for lopsided state primaries, the party leadership has again assured party faithful and the general public that there will be credible and acceptable direct primaries for aspirants on the party’s platform into elective offices.
